What's your typical response time?
We respond to most inquiries within 48 hours.
How do I report a bug?
Use Report Issue in the app (Settings → Legal & Support), which pre-fills your app version, device model and OS version, nothing else. Or email support@sniffqr.com with a description of the issue, which platform you are on, your OS version and your device model.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by whichever store you purchased from. We never process payments directly. For Android, request a refund through Google Play. For iPhone, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Or email support@sniffqr.com and we will help.
Where can I find setup guides?
All three are built in, so you never have to leave the product to configure a service: Google Web Risk, VirusTotal Premium and your own Custom Threat Feed. In the Android and iPhone apps they live under Settings; in the browser extension, the Google Web Risk guide is on the options page.
Is my data private?
Yes. sniffQR processes everything on your device and we run no servers. The only traffic that leaves is the threat checks you enable with your own API key, and, only when you ask, the look-up that reveals where a link really goes, and any link you open in a preview.
